What does Canary Islands have to offer?
The Canary Islands These islands are a firm family favourite with their superb sandy beaches, and year round sunshine. Our Canary Island villas can be found in a variety of resorts ranging from family fun aqua parks, amusements, water sports and a lively night life, to hikes in the mountains, exotic plant and animal life and eerie volcanic landscapes. Fuerteventura Our villas in Fuerteventura are on the more sheltered eastern side of the island– although the beaches here are still great for swimming, surfing and windsurfing. On the north eastern tip you'll find the island's main resort. Gran Canaria Our villas in Gran Canaria are located in the dry and sunny south of the island about 1˝ hours drive from the lively capital, Las Palmas. Temperatures in Gran Canaria vary from an average of 20°C in January to 29°C in August, so it's a popular year round destination. But it's still easy to get away from the crowds, either by heading inland to the intriguing interior of the island or by taking a boat trip to quieter beaches inaccessible by road. Lanzarote This is where it all began for James Villa Holidays back in 1984, so we know all the best places on the island. Most of our villas are on the sheltered south coast with a few inland hideaways for those who prefer their sun bathing in complete tranquillity. Tenerife We've picked villas in the sunny south west of the island. Most of them are within a short drive of the beaches and brightest entertainment, whilst still offering a peaceful retreat for relaxing by your private pool. They are also well placed for touring the lesser known parts of the island.
